1ST ARNOLD’S CARRISMOON JASMINE, 13c5, 23.04.08

Red Point. I see now that this girl is the litter sister to my BOB male and she was a pretty baby with a sweet expression. Rounded shape to the skull, quite as well developed as her brother’s, being a little narrower in comparison to it’s length. However, she is only a young kitten so there is still a lot of head development to happen yet. Large ears, still sitting a little close together, though they should be well placed once the head broadens. Large, expressive eyes, not quite round in shape, two-toned with pale blue rims and slightly deeper blue centres. Medium length nose, slight dip present though she does have a small bump towards the tip. Level bite. Quite full chin, slightly tapered, though it recedes just a fraction. Lovely long body, excellent weight for a female of this age, she feels deceptively heavy. Good substantial boning to medium length legs and short strong paws. Tail balanced the body length well, bushy furnishings starting to develop. Long soft baby coat, very pale cream colour. Points starting to develop, though limb colour yet to really start to deepen, which made assessment of the feet markings almost impossible. Pale to mid red ears, nose and tail, similar in depth to her brother’s. Gloves were a little on the low side, though acceptable since they covered all the toes. Socks and gauntlets were a real challenge to see, especially in the yellow toned hall lighting. I felt that the socks covered the toes, and could see the right gauntlet ended about halfway up, but could not really see the full extent of the left gauntlet because the limb’s colour has not yet started to develop. Therefore, today I gave her the benefit of the doubt on the length of the left gauntlet. She was lovely to handle, very patient with us as we spent a great deal of time trying to evaluate her gauntlets. I do hope that they are of suitable length and shape once they can be seen when the leg colour develops. She was well groomed for the show and very playful

2nd Arnold’s CARRISMOON JASMINE (13C5) F 23/4/08 Red Point

Very sweet kitten just over 6 months old, just wanted to play whilst being judged. Skull strong, broad and rounded, nose leather pink. Cheeks, full and round tapering to a strong muzzle. Nose, medium in length with slight dip profile. Ears, medium in size, and spaced well apart. Pale blue eyes, almost round but not bold. I would have preferred a better eye colour. Long, body well boned, and of good substance for age. Legs of medium length and thick-set, paws short and strong. Tail, bushy and proportion to the body. Very good coat texture soft and silky to touch. Ruff developing around the neck slightly curled on stomach, eyes bright temperament good. Orange /red points to the mask, tail and ears, but her legs are rather pale at the moment. The body is also very pale at the moment, can only see a hint of golden hue developing. Front feet white, low even across the paw with the right front foot lower that the left front foot. The back white socks covering the entire paw and gauntlets even tapering up the back of the leg to finish just below the point of the hock. Lovely to handle, and enjoyed her games.
